Our little man!!!

Well, it's official. We will be having a little boy come July 30th!!! We found out today that our little Max Bradley is on his way!!! We're very excited and by we and mean Scott and me. Lexi is not so ok with it. I told her mommy is having a boy and she said, "No boys!!! Girl!!". I said it's a little brother and she said, "No brother, mom!!" Guess she'll just have to deal with it in a couple months!!!

When I asked Lexi what she was doing, she said "cooking my baby"!! Umm...I don't think I'll be leaving her alone with the little one....

2 year old photos (a month late)...

This week my friend Jenn took some 2 year old photos of Lexi for me. Lexi was all that into having her pics taken, her favorite word during it was "NO"!!! Jenn did such a great job getting this amazing photos!! They show Lexi's personality and attitude so well.

#2!!!!

6 weeks

So, it's definitely been a long time since I posted. facebook is just so much easier that this blog has fallen by the wayside. Let's see updates in our life....Lexi turned 2, we went to Disneyland for Scott's birthday in December and.... oh yeah!!! We're expecting number 2!!! We are due July 30th!! We will be finding out what we're having on February 6th and can't wait!!! I'll update a lot of pics so everyone can see what's been going on....

Here it goes...

So what's been going on in the Rook's life.... just a lot of busyness. Lexi is now 22 months and is talking all the time. She is into everything and is a little sponge. She is constantly surprising us with new words and keeping us entertained. Scott was in school all summer and is now taking a full load this fall. We think he has about 3 or 4 more semesters, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!!! He switched his major to finance with a minor in economics. Art classes took too much time and he really enjoys business. I'm still working part time at sunrise, well sorta. Our census has been low lately so I've been getting a lot of extra "vacation" time.

So, this is my punishment for not getting Lexi out of her room as quickly as she'd like me to....
